Information Security Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely in an approved state, the full-time Information Security Support Analyst I will conduct security assessments, promote security best practices, and analyze data to communicate risks and security control gaps to decision-makers within the university.

Key responsibilities

• Perform information security risk analysis and manage risk processes and technologies
• Provide research and operational support to teams within Information Security Management
• Assist with reporting, metrics, and the central intake of requests and tickets

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Information Security
• High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
• Professional certification(s) such as Security+ or the ability to obtain it within the first 6 months of employment
• Experience with information security topics and concepts
• Familiarity with ticket management systems like ServiceNow
