Information Security Analyst I

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Analyst I, responsible for supporting day-to-day security operations and incident investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing and security control assessments, reporting findings to the appropriate teams
• Respond to security incidents and conduct forensic investigations to address root causes of security problems
• Collaborate with project and helpdesk teams to mitigate risks and document infosec activities

Required Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in security, specifically with Endpoint Security, Intrusion Prevention, and Firewall security
• 2+ years of experience in an MSP/MSSP or SOC environment
• Proven experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer
• Hands-on experience with security systems, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Thorough understanding of security principles, techniques, and protocols
