Information Security Analyst I

Job Summary

Information Security Analyst I is a contract, remote position responsible for monitoring security events, identifying potential threats, and escalating incidents within a 24/7 Security Operations Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events in real-time within a 24/7 SOC environment
• Perform initial triage and analysis of alerts, prioritizing incidents based on severity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support incident response activities and maintain documentation

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, technical support, or a related role
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and indicators of compromise
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or similar are preferred
• Ability to engage professionally with customers and internal stakeholders
