Information Security and Privacy Senior Counsel Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security and Privacy Senior Counsel Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide proactive and strategic counsel on information security, cybersecurity, and privacy
• Partner effectively and coordinate across Legal and other functions to identify compliance practices
• Educate on legal implications of proposed security and privacy platforms, programs, and practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and J.D. degrees from accredited schools
• Active license to practice law in at least one of the fifty states
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a practicing attorney, including 2 years in information security and privacy
• In-house legal experience or advising global corporation clients at a law firm
• Working knowledge of security and privacy regulations, frameworks, and enforcement trends
