Information Security Architect

Job Summary

As the principal security advisor, the full-time contract Information Security Architect will plan, design, implement, maintain, and analyze systems while guiding internal developers and vendor partners on security strategy and requirements in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all security operations, providing guidance on security strategy and requirements
• Maintain security by assessing and evaluating security measures and conducting security incident forensic work
• Stay updated on emerging security practices and standards through continuous education and professional networking

Required qualifications

• CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification
• Experience with information security regulations such as FedRAMP, ISO 27001, COBIT, and NIST
• Understanding of the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience
• Experience working with Government agencies, particularly the Department of Defense (DoD), on information security matters
