Job Summary
As the principal security advisor, the full-time contract Information Security Architect will plan, design, implement, maintain, and analyze systems while guiding internal developers and vendor partners on security strategy and requirements in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all security operations, providing guidance on security strategy and requirements
- Maintain security by assessing and evaluating security measures and conducting security incident forensic work
- Stay updated on emerging security practices and standards through continuous education and professional networking
Required qualifications
- CISSP, CISM, or CISA certification
- Experience with information security regulations such as FedRAMP, ISO 27001, COBIT, and NIST
- Understanding of the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of recent, relevant work experience
- Experience working with Government agencies, particularly the Department of Defense (DoD), on information security matters
