Information Security Compliance Officer

Job Summary

Leading initiatives to protect digital resources, the full-time Information Security Compliance Officer will develop and implement security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with NIST, NIH, and CMMC standards, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the NIST readiness effort, focusing on compliance with NIH, CMMC, and NIST SP 800-171 standards
• Execute strategies to prepare for security audits and evolving regulatory requirements
• Develop and enforce information security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry regulations

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in information security, risk management, or compliance
• A bachelor's degree
• Experience in higher education
• CMMC level 1 and level 2 experience
• Extensive experience in policy and standards creation
