Information Security Director

Job Summary

Leading the development and implementation of information security strategies, the full-time remote Information Security Director will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational information assets while managing security incidents and compliance with relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and manage an information security awareness training program for all employees and contractors
• Lead the Information Security Steering Committee and oversee compliance with security governance procedures
• Identify and mitigate information security risks, including managing vendor security evaluations and incident response

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in leading Information Security initiatives, or 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with regulatory compliance and information security management frameworks
• Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and privacy regulations
• Strong understanding of server, network, application, and perimeter security
• Experience managing cloud security tools and familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity framework
