Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security operations, the full-time remote Information Security Engineer will implement and optimize automation through SOAR playbook development, participate in threat investigations, and improve incident response efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain SOAR playbooks to automate security tasks such as alert triage and incident response
• Investigate malware and unauthorized access events while analyzing logs and network captures to determine attack scope
• Collaborate with the Information Security Operations Manager to advance security operations capabilities using AI technologies

Required qualifications

• BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of 5 years of security experience or equivalent training
• Experience in SOAR playbook development and scripting/programming skills (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
• Knowledge of computing systems, data network communications, and network architecture
• Security-related certifications (e.g., GIAC, CISSP) are preferred
