Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Engineer to manage the development of security tools and ensure compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security projects and collaborate with engineers and vendors to design secure production environments
• Conduct gap analysis of security controls and create target states for enterprise-wide network security
• Implement security policies and assist in the Vulnerability Management program

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years of experience in Information Security with a focus on security best practices and management
• Preferred security certification (e.g., GSEC, GISF, GPEN, or equivalent) or to be obtained within 12 months of hire
• Experience in installing, configuring, and deploying security tools across various operating systems
• Familiarity with security controls in cloud environments such as Azure and AWS
