Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Principal Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and execute vulnerability scans of FedRAMP environments and prepare documentation based on findings
• Prepare, validate, and maintain security documentation and support the security life cycle of major applications
• Advise stakeholders on security and privacy weaknesses and collaborate with project teams on security assessments and audits

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Federal government information security and privacy
• 7+ years in CyberSecurity with 4+ years of hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools
• Experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53 Rev 4 (or 800-171) or agency equivalent
• Experience in preparing security documentation and evaluating security and privacy controls
• Capable of self-direction in complex vulnerability situations requiring in-depth troubleshooting
