Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Engineer for a contract position.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and operate modern security platforms, optimizing enterprise-level security tooling
• Conduct deep-dive security assessments to evaluate systems and deliver actionable insights
• Support and mature core security operations, including malware response and vulnerability management

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in information security or IT operations, preferably in financial services
• Familiarity with modern security tools, frameworks, and standards (e.g., SIEM, EDR, CIS, NIST, ISO 27001)
• Experience with identity and access management solutions, such as Okta
• Experience with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
