Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Engineer (SecOps).

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Security Operations Center team by designing monitoring controls for applications
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand application risk profiles and determine necessary controls and monitoring requirements
• Assist with the engineering backlog, including developing and implementing use cases and automations

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity
• Experience with cybersecurity control frameworks (NIST CSF / CRI preferred)
• Proficiency in developing monitoring use cases using SIEM systems (e.g., Splunk)
• Experience with low code tools for automation development
• Familiarity with LAMBDA functions in AWS and Python development
