Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance incident response capabilities, the full-time remote Information Security Engineer will manage security incidents through their lifecycle, perform detailed incident analysis, and support Tier 2 SOC operations while collaborating with Security Engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct incident response activities, including identification, containment, eradication, and recovery of security incidents
• Analyze telemetry data to determine root causes and impacts of security events, documenting findings thoroughly
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and collaborate with teams to improve detection and response capabilities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and four years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Demonstrated full lifecycle security incident response experience
• Familiarity with systems analysis methods and techniques
• Project management skills
• Developed analytical and critical thinking skills
