Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Proactive and technically curious, the full-time remote Information Security Engineer will engineer and operate modern security platforms, conduct deep-dive security assessments, and strengthen core security operations within a dynamic technology and information security team.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer and optimize enterprise-level security tooling across various technologies
• Conduct hands-on evaluations of systems and architecture to deliver actionable security insights
• Support and mature security processes such as malware response, vulnerability management, and SIEM log analysis

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in information security or IT operations, preferably in financial services
• Familiarity with modern security tools, frameworks, and standards (e.g., SIEM, EDR, NIST)
• Experience with identity and access management solutions, such as Okta
• Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
