Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a North-American based Information Security Engineer, this full-time remote position will design and automate security controls, evaluate new technologies, and enhance monitoring systems to protect Algolia's infrastructure and customer data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and automate controls and detection mechanisms to improve information security
• Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate security into new features and systems
• Conduct risk assessments and lead incident response activities to enhance security posture

Required Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in Information Security engineering or related technical domains
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or automation language (Python, Bash, Go, etc.)
• Strong understanding of Information Security principles in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Experience with log management/SIEM and threat detection systems, preferably Crowdstrike or Obsidian
• Full professional proficiency in English
