Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the migration of web proxy services, the contract-based Information Security Engineer will implement, configure, and deploy Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) for a large healthcare enterprise in a remote role over a 3-4 month period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) within the enterprise environment
• Assist with the migration of web proxy services from Broadcom/Blue Coat ProxySG to Cisco SWA
• Configure security policies, traffic controls, and perform testing and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Network Security Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) implementation
• Experience deploying and configuring secure web proxy solutions in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of web security, proxy technologies, and SSL inspection
• Experience migrating from Broadcom/Blue Coat ProxySG to Cisco SWA is preferred
