Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the migration of web proxy services, the remote contract Information Security Engineer will implement, configure, test, and deploy Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) while collaborating with infrastructure, network, and security teams over a 3-4 month period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) within a large enterprise environment
• Assist with the migration of web proxy services from Broadcom/Blue Coat ProxySG to Cisco SWA
• Perform testing, validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Network Security Engineering
• Hands-on Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) implementation experience
• Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting secure web proxy solutions in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of web security, proxy technologies, and web traffic management
• Experience migrating from Broadcom/Blue Coat ProxySG to Cisco SWA (preferred)
