Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the migration of web proxy services, the remote contract Information Security Engineer will implement, configure, test, and deploy Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) within a large healthcare enterprise over a 3-4 month period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) and assist with the migration from Broadcom/Blue Coat ProxySG
• Configure security policies, traffic controls, and SSL inspection capabilities while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle to ensure a seamless deployment

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Network Security Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) implementation
• Experience deploying and configuring secure web proxy solutions in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of web security, proxy technologies, and URL filtering
• Experience migrating from Broadcom/Blue Coat ProxySG to Cisco SWA is preferred
