Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the migration of web proxy services, the contract-based Information Security Engineer will implement, configure, test, and deploy Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) in a remote role for a large healthcare enterprise over a 3-4 month period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the implementation of Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) within a large enterprise environment
• Assist with the migration of web proxy services from Broadcom/Blue Coat ProxySG to Cisco SWA
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and security teams to ensure seamless migration and deployment

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Network Security Engineering
• Hands-on Cisco Secure Web Appliance (SWA) implementation experience
• Experience deploying and configuring secure web proxy solutions in enterprise environments
• Strong understanding of web security, proxy technologies, and SSL inspection
• Experience migrating from Broadcom/Blue Coat ProxySG to Cisco SWA (preferred)
