Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a proactive full-time Information Security Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating security systems to reduce organizational risks and protect critical data and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor security systems, responding to alerts and security events
• Develop and enforce standard security configurations for systems and applications
• Lead incident response efforts, including containment, investigation, and documentation of security events

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related field plus 2-3 years of relevant experience, or 5 years of direct information security experience in lieu of a degree
• Preferred certification in information security (CISSP preferred)
• Strong technical and analytical skills with familiarity in encryption protocols and vulnerability scanners
