Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning security in the AWS environment, the full-time remote Information Security Engineer will manage IAM, network segmentation, and incident response while building security into the development pipeline and automating compliance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee security measures in AWS, including IAM, encryption, and logging
• Integrate security into the development pipeline through automation and threat modeling
• Lead vulnerability management and incident response efforts, including writing runbooks and conducting drills

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or security-heavy infrastructure, particularly in AWS
• Proficiency in Python and Terraform or similar automation tools
• Experience with SOC 2 audits and knowledge of privacy legislation
• Familiarity with financial services customer scrutiny and related security risks
• Strong writing skills for clear communication in a remote environment
