Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Security Engineer for a US remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the development, deployment, and execution of controls and defenses to ensure the security and privacy of company information, technology, and information systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, laws, and regulations related to data security, confidentiality, integrity, availability, and privacy
• Evaluate new information security and privacy requirements, industry trends, and recommend improvements to security and privacy controls

Qualifications:

• BS in computer science or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in information security, risk management, and policy
• One or more professional security certifications (GIAC, SSCP, CISA, CISSP)
