Information Security Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Manager, Information Security who will lead the Security Operations and Engineering program, manage a small team, and engage in hands-on engineering, incident response, and security initiatives across various domains including WAF, DLP, and cloud security.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute the Security Operations and Engineering strategy while managing and mentoring a small team
• Lead incident response efforts and maintain incident response playbooks to enhance security posture
• Oversee the deployment and management of security tools, including WAF and DLP controls, across the organization

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in information security with 2-3 years in a management role
• Hands-on experience with WAF platforms, DLP tooling, and cloud security controls (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in incident response, including root cause analysis and post-incident reporting
• Strong scripting/automation skills, preferably in Python or Terraform
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud security certifications are a plus
