Information Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation of Authorization to Operate (ATO) package documentation
• Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive information security policies
• Manage and enhance security monitoring systems to proactively detect and respond to potential security incidents

Required Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications highly desired
• Minimum of 6-10 years of progressive experience in information security
• Extensive knowledge of DHS information security frameworks, regulations, and standards
• Strong experience in performing security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
• US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD)
