Information Security Specialist

Job Summary

Fostering a security-conscious culture, the remote Information Security Communications Specialist II will develop, write, and maintain ISMS documentation, manage security training programs, and coordinate awareness campaigns to enhance organizational security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, write, and maintain ISMS documentation aligned with industry standards
• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive security training and awareness program
• Coordinate and conduct security awareness campaigns to promote a culture of security

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field
• 3-6 years of experience in a communications role, preferably in information security or IT
• Experience with Information Security compliance frameworks such as ISO27001 or SOC2
• Proven experience in developing documentation for formal management systems
• Demonstrated experience in creating and delivering training and awareness programs
