Information Security Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on Information Security Specialist, the full-time remote position will manage the ISO 27001 ISMS across multiple business units, ensuring audit readiness and driving corrective actions while fostering a culture of security awareness in a life sciences technology company.
Key responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day operations of the ISO 27001 ISMS and ensure audit readiness
- Drive corrective actions to closure and maintain a live risk register with mitigation plans
- Build and implement security awareness training that effectively changes behavior
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security / ISMS operations, preferably in med tech or life sciences
- Hands-on experience with ISO 27001 implementation and external audits
- Proven track record of measurable impact in reducing vulnerabilities and automating processes
- Understanding of cloud security fundamentals
- Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills
