Information Security Student Worker

Job Summary

Supporting security operations and incident response initiatives, the part-time Student Worker in Information Security will assist with threat intelligence, contribute to the development of incident response protocols, and analyze security events while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support initiatives related to security operations, incident response, and threat intelligence
• Contribute to the development and refinement of incident response playbooks and standard operating procedures
• Analyze security events and document findings to help reconstruct attack timelines

Required qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a relevant degree program, preferably having completed sophomore year
• Knowledge in security operations, incident response, threat hunting, or threat intelligence
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python
• Experience with Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Power Automate
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred, with consideration for a combination of experience and education
