Information System Security Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated Information System Security Engineer to work remotely, this full-time position will manage security impact assessments, provide technical recommendations for cybersecurity solutions, and participate in collaborative working groups for a USCG project.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform security impact assessments on new and ongoing IA projects to identify potential impacts on existing security controls
• Provide technical input and assistance in implementing cybersecurity approaches that align with DoD/DoW & USCG regulations
• Participate in CONOP working groups to ensure security considerations are integrated throughout project design and development phases

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of 8-10 years of direct experience in DoW cybersecurity or a related field
• Network or enterprise architecture background with hands-on experience in secure architecture and integrating security tools
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• US citizenship with Public Trust clearance
