Job Summary
To support implementing and maintaining the cybersecurity posture of mission-critical finance-related systems, the full-time remote Information System Security Officer (ISSO) will manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance, Authority to Operate (ATO) activities, and continuous monitoring while collaborating with cybersecurity and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support implementation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and controls in accordance with DoD RMF and NIST 800-53
- Develop and maintain RMF documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and security control implementation evidence
- Support ATO lifecycle activities, including control implementation, validation, and continuous monitoring
Required qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- 5+ years of experience in information system security or cybersecurity roles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53 security controls and continuous monitoring practices
- Security+ certification or higher DoD 8570/8140 equivalent
