Information System Security Officer
Job Summary
To support the DoD customer's Cybersecurity Assess & Authorize (A&A) team, the hybrid remote Information System Security Officer will manage multiple Authorization to Operate (ATO) efforts, ensuring compliance with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and driving the successful authorization of approximately seven packages annually from either Smyrna, GA or Fort Gregg-Adams, VA.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) Executive Packages, including System Security Plans and Security Assessment Reports
- Register systems in the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) application and utilize it to automate the RMF process
- Provide monthly and annual metrics for SNAP registration and maintain all Agency connections
Required qualifications:
- ACTIVE DOD Secret Clearance
- 5 - 10 years of relevant cybersecurity, RMF, and A&A experience
- Experience with eMASS and familiarity with DoDI 8510.01, NIST SP 800-37, and NIST SP 800-30
- MUST possess one of the following IAT Level II certifications: CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CompTIA CySA+, SSCP, GICSP, GSEC, or CND
