Information Systems Security Manager

Job Summary

Leading a team of security professionals, the full-time remote Information Systems Security Manager will develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies and systems to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance while managing risk assessments and responding to security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the design and management of security controls, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation and recovery from security breaches
• Monitor emerging threats and industry trends to maintain a robust security posture

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Current Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification
• 6+ years of experience in IT security, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and DLP
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevSecOps practices
