Information Systems Security Manager
Job Summary
To support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, the remote Information Systems Security Manager will manage cyber defense capabilities, deliver strategic recommendations for improving security architectures, and ensure operational readiness of IT systems while maximizing the effectiveness of security tools.
Key responsibilities
- Direct the technical and operational effectiveness of cyber defense capabilities in coordination with COTR and Sponsor Staff management
- Manage comprehensive incident response operations and deliver actionable, high-impact analytical products
- Drive agile automation initiatives to eliminate manual inefficiencies across the cyber defense program
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Subject Matter Expertise in Risk Management Framework
- Hands-on experience enforcing information protection policies in an unclassified environment
- Extensive experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Sentinel, ELK Stack, or Crowdstrike
- At least one cyber security certification: CASP+ CE, CSSLP, or CISSP
