Information Systems Security Officer
Job Summary
Supporting the ICE Health Service Corps, the full-time Information Systems Security Officer will provide cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance oversight, ensuring IT systems meet federal security standards while leading Authority to Operate (ATO) processes for multiple systems.
Key responsibilities
- Support cybersecurity risk management activities and system security planning
- Facilitate Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, including documentation and coordination
- Maintain security documentation and advise leadership on cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in federal cybersecurity or IT security programs
- Knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of risk management and ATO processes
- Ability to communicate security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to obtain a DHS/ICE fitness determination
