Information Technology Consultant

Job Summary

Managing Windows Server and Azure IaaS resources, the contract-based Information Technology Consultant will assist with day-to-day operations, security hardening, and automation while collaborating with network and application teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, and IIS, ensuring optimal performance and security
• Manage Azure IaaS resources, including VMs and networking components, while implementing backup and monitoring solutions
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and maintain documentation for processes and changes following ITIL practices

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience administering Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and IIS in enterprise environments
• Proficiency in Azure IaaS management, including VMs, networking, and monitoring tools
• Strong skills in PowerShell scripting for automation and Infrastructure-as-Code practices
• Experience with documentation, change control, and incident/problem management processes
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders
