Job Summary
Seeking a skilled Infrastructure Administrator (Windows/Linux) for a hybrid, full-time contract role in Boston, MA, who will manage a mixed Windows/Linux infrastructure, provide technical support to end-users, and maintain computer systems and software.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all functions related to server operating systems and hardware
- Provide first and second-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and peripherals while documenting IT processes and configurations
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 6+ years of experience supporting Windows servers
- Strong technical background in an enterprise environment with experience in hardware, software, RAID configuration, and patching
- Proficient in configuring and maintaining Windows operating systems, with additional knowledge of Linux/WSL
- Experience with IT security practices and protocols
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regulated environment
