Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Terraform to design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code foundations in a full-time remote role, contributing to cloud and hybrid environments while ensuring compliance and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular Terraform code for infrastructure across cloud accounts and environments
• Implement Terraform automation pipelines and enforce policy-as-code to ensure secure infrastructure changes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security and operational guardrails into reusable modules and pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering with significant Terraform expertise
• Deep hands-on experience with production Terraform across at least one major cloud provider
• Strong experience in designing reusable Terraform modules and managing Terraform state at scale
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
