Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time, remote Infrastructure Automation Engineer with deep Terraform expertise to design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code foundations, focusing on creating reusable Terraform modules and implementing automation pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular Terraform code for cloud accounts and environments
• Implement Terraform automation pipelines with plan/apply gating and policy enforcement
• Collaborate with teams to embed security and compliance guardrails into infrastructure practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering, with a focus on Terraform
• Hands-on expertise in authoring and maintaining production Terraform across a major cloud provider
• Strong experience with Terraform state management and large-scale workspace organization
• Proficient in scripting with Python, Go, or Bash
