Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support automation initiatives, the mid-level Infrastructure Automation Engineer will work remotely on a contract basis, focusing on building Ansible workflows for patch management and integrating automation with ticketing systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build Ansible automation workflows based on patching logic from MECM, orchestrating the full patch lifecycle
• Integrate automation processes with ServiceNow for ticketing and change requests
• Manage patch execution triggers and failure handling, ensuring alerts and ticketing are properly addressed

Required qualifications

• Experience with Ansible and automation workflows
• Familiarity with MECM and patch management processes
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and ServiceNow integration
• Ability to create repeatable and scalable automation solutions
• Experience in IT services or consulting environments
