Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Infrastructure Automation Engineer with a strong focus on Terraform to design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code foundations, ensuring the delivery of scalable and secure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular Terraform code for cloud infrastructure across multiple accounts and environments
• Implement Terraform automation pipelines with policy enforcement and drift detection, utilizing tools like GitHub Actions or Terraform Cloud
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize infrastructure delivery and enforce security policies through reusable modules

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering with a significant focus on Terraform
• Deep hands-on expertise in authoring and maintaining production Terraform across major cloud providers
• Strong experience in designing reusable Terraform modules and managing Terraform state at scale
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
