Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Infrastructure Automation Engineer with deep Terraform expertise to design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions in a 100% remote environment, focusing on creating reusable modules and enforcing policy-as-code across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular Terraform code for cloud infrastructure across multiple environments
• Implement automation pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions and Terraform Cloud, ensuring policy enforcement and drift detection
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize infrastructure delivery and embed security guardrails into reusable modules

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering with a focus on Terraform
• Hands-on expertise in authoring and maintaining production Terraform across at least one major cloud provider
• Strong experience with Terraform state management and large-scale workspace organization
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
