Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time, remote Infrastructure Automation Engineer with deep Terraform expertise to design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code foundations, focusing on reusable modules, automation pipelines, and policy enforcement across cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular Terraform code for infrastructure across cloud accounts and environments
• Implement Terraform automation pipelines with plan/apply gating, drift detection, and policy enforcement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security and compliance guardrails into infrastructure solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering with a focus on Terraform
• Hands-on expertise in authoring and maintaining production Terraform across major cloud providers
• Strong experience in designing reusable Terraform modules and managing Terraform state at scale
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
