Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Infrastructure Automation Engineer with deep Terraform expertise to design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code foundations in a remote environment, focusing on creating reusable Terraform modules, hardening pipelines, and enforcing policy-as-code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular Terraform code for cloud accounts and environments
• Implement Terraform automation pipelines with plan/apply gating and policy enforcement
• Collaborate with security and platform teams to embed guardrails into reusable modules and pipelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering with a focus on Terraform
• Hands-on expertise in authoring and maintaining production Terraform across a major cloud provider
• Experience designing reusable Terraform modules with clean APIs and version discipline
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash
