Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Infrastructure Automation Engineer with deep Terraform expertise to design, build, and maintain infrastructure-as-code foundations for cloud and hybrid environments, working remotely and focusing on creating reusable Terraform modules and enforcing policy-as-code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modular Terraform code for cloud infrastructure across multiple environments
• Implement Terraform automation pipelines with plan/apply gating and policy enforcement
• Collaborate with teams to standardize infrastructure delivery and embed security guardrails into reusable modules

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering with a focus on Terraform
• Hands-on expertise in authoring and maintaining production Terraform across major cloud providers
• Strong experience with Terraform state management and reusable module design
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash
