Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Building out AI tooling from the ground up, the full-time remote Infrastructure Engineer will define architectural standards, establish governance frameworks, and manage AI/ML infrastructure primarily on GCP while collaborating across teams to implement internal AI applications and ensure compliance with security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the rollout and operational management of AI-assisted development tools across engineering
• Partner with teams to identify and support internal AI applications and workflows
• Manage AI/ML infrastructure on GCP, designing Terraform modules and IaC patterns

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AI/ML infrastructure such as Vertex AI or comparable platforms
• Proven experience in setting up AI developer tooling at an organizational level
• Fluency in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
• Ability to work across teams and define new capability boundaries
• Clear communication skills regarding cost, risk, and value of AI investments
