Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Infrastructure Engineer will design, scale, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support mission-critical geospatial and AI/ML workloads, while collaborating with a high-impact team to address climate-related challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code best practices
- Own and evolve the Atmos-based IaC framework, managing stack configuration and environment lifecycle
- Operate and maintain managed-SaaS platforms, ensuring application reliability and performance through effective deployment pipelines
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software or infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on cloud infrastructure or platform engineering
- Deep proficiency with Terraform and/or OpenTofu, including module authoring and state management
- Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, RDS, and S3
- Experience managing containerized infrastructure with Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Python for infrastructure automation and scripting
