Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing remote-first law firm, the full-time Independent Contractor Infrastructure Engineer will manage cloud and infrastructure projects across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, ensuring systems are reliable and scalable while implementing automation and emerging technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Support infrastructure and cloud projects, particularly with Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Intune
- Produce documentation for infrastructure systems and deliver training to the IT support team
- Explore AI-driven tools and contribute to Infrastructure as Code initiatives using tools like Bicep or Terraform
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure/cloud engineering roles
- Solid production-level experience with Microsoft Azure and virtualization environments
- Proficiency in scripting/automation using PowerShell and/or Python
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Intune (MDM)
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems such as Freshservice or ServiceNow
