Infrastructure Engineer
Job Summary
To support seamless operations, the full-time remote Infrastructure Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain critical IT infrastructure, focusing on server systems, cloud services, and virtualization platforms while collaborating with IT and architecture teams.
Key responsibilities
- Leads IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion of server systems and cloud services
- Oversees deployment and maintenance of Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments, implementing updates for optimal performance and security
- Develops backup and disaster recovery plans, scripts in PowerShell for automation, and participates in Agile methodologies for project delivery
Required qualifications
- Degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a similar role
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including setup and management
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools like Terraform is preferred
