Infrastructure Operations Manager

Job Summary

Leading the day-to-day operations of Nscale's AI data centre facilities, the full-time Infrastructure Operations Manager will ensure operational excellence, manage a team of operators, and oversee infrastructure reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of AI data centre infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance
• Develop and coach a team of Infrastructure Operations Operators while managing shift coverage and on-call schedules
• Act as the primary operational contact for customers and vendors, managing relationships and reporting on performance metrics

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in managing infrastructure operations or data centre environments
• Proven leadership experience in mission-critical technical operations teams
• Strong understanding of HPC, GPU infrastructure, and data centre operations
• Experience managing performance against customer SLAs and KPIs
• Familiarity with operational monitoring and infrastructure management tools
