Infrastructure Security Manager

Job Summary

The full-time remote Infrastructure Security Manager will establish and scale security foundations for protecting infrastructure and cloud environments, combining technical leadership with hands-on engineering to build secure standards and enable engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and standardize secure infrastructure patterns across AWS and GCP to create a scalable security foundation
• Establish unified identity and access management alongside centralized secrets management to reduce infrastructure risk
• Automate infrastructure compliance, logging, and security controls to support SOC 2 Type 2 and banking-grade operational standards

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience authoring and deploying production-grade Terraform for cloud security, including complex IAM and VPC implementations
• Proven success in leading and mentoring a small engineering team while owning technical project delivery
• Experience designing and implementing secure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices in production cloud environments
• Ability to architect and secure cloud infrastructure while collaborating closely with engineering teams
• Experience building foundational infrastructure hardening and IAM standards in organizations lacking established security functions
