Job Summary
Hands-on and detail-driven, the full-time Infrastructure Software Engineer will build and maintain systems for managing a large fleet of GPU servers, focusing on automation, health monitoring, and error recovery.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a Python fleet tracking system for server lifecycle management, including health monitoring and procurement
- Create server management tooling to automate provisioning, health checks, diagnostics, and recovery processes
- Implement metrics, dashboards, and alerting for hardware health across the fleet, leveraging AI for automation
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing bare-metal and cloud-based server fleets at scale (100+ nodes)
- Strong software engineering skills in Python with a focus on production tooling
- Deep knowledge of Linux systems, including boot processes, kernel tuning, and networking
- Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible and Terraform
- Solid understanding of storage technologies and hardware diagnostics
